The High Road

Two years ago I attended the Word on the Street Festival here in Toronto with my Canon 40D and a pocketful of photographic ambition. I needed content for this photoblog and I wasn’t sure if I would find it. I ended up finding a considerable amount and near the end of the day I photographed author Terry Fallis at a signing table.

Terry’s brother initially found the image via Google and brought it to his attention. Terry loved it.

In early 2010, Terry contacted me to see if he could use the image for his upcoming novel and boy was I stoked by the potential exposure opportunity.

The novel, “The High Road”, is now available in bookstores across Canada and I can’t wait to read it. It’s an awesome feeling to see my name associated with a photo credit on the outside back cover of a book.
