The 2010 edition of the annual Toronto Santa Claus Parade was held yesterday and since it has been a two year absence, I decided to check it out with, you guessed it, my wife.
I made what turned out to be a bad decision and headed down to the St. Lawrence Market area (the END of the parade route) and the long wait combined with the cold wind made it a sour photography experience.
I captured Furry Costume, decked out with his Bollé sunglasses, with my 70-300mm lens and all I can say is thank God for image stabilization. I need to find new gloves as my cold finger tips made it a challenge to stabilize the camera body and lens.
