Christmas In The Square was a Salvation Army event held last night at Toronto’s Yonge-Dundas Square. The event brought a lot of Christmas spirit to downtown Toronto. Carol’s were sung by a choir. Music played by a brass band and McDonald’s provided free coffee.
This event also served as a collection point for Toy Mountain (the CTV television network and The Salvation Army are the key partners). Toys are collected all over the city and distributed by The Salvation Army to needy children before Christmas.
