This past Sunday afternoon my friend Robert and I had lunch at Caplansky’s Delicatessen.
During our lunch we hear loud live music coming from the direction of the Kensington Market. We check it out afterward and discovered it was Pedestrian Sunday — the streets are closed to cars. The dense foot traffic combined with the live music and outdoor retailing was a cool experience.
I approached this woman as she was crossing the street and asked to take her picture. She was flattered. When I asked about her sunglasses I was informed that they were nothing special.
“How so?” I asked.
“I got them at Forever 21!”
